I could definitely cook in any of these 4 kitchens. I think I like them equally because each of them incorporates in its own way a vintage or raw element that adds character and does not make it a showroom kitchen - I am not a fan of showroom kitchens. Which one is your favorite, and why? I'd love to hear your opinion!

J'aimerais tellement avoir votre avis!
I like most the first one. It has plenty of open space and some industrial elements. My own decoration style is more country like but these kind of rooms catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kitchens! I love the unfinished look on the walls of the 1st and 4th pictures, but I know they would be a big NO for my husband... LOL
DeleteI have been an admirer of your blog for a long time, and have blogged several photos and referenced you in the past. So you can imagine my delight when I suddenly saw a reference to one of my posts on your blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you, and I am honoured.
Best Wishes,
Just The Design, (Martin to you.)
Martin, thank you so much for this! You have such a lovely blog! Merci for stopping by and taking the time to write this sweet note. XoXo (two for you!) Si-
DeleteI am with you, I have an intense dislike for showroom kitchens. If you made me choose I would go with the first one, but they all have beautiful elements. I am currently renovating the kitchen in my 1930's bungalow. I have gone for open shelving above, which I adore, but am stuck on what to do for the lower cabinets. I like the idea of units that look like that are individual pieces of furniture. I am still working on it. I absolutely adore your blog, it is a must every morning. Thanks for making my day brighter, Melanie (NZ)
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you so much Melanie! I am truly honoured to read that I'm part of your day, everyday. This is a huge compliment and an incredible recognition of my work. So merci for that Melanie! Good luck with the design of your kitchen my dear! XO, Si-
DeleteDefinitely the first one. I love the fact that different styles live together. I agree, I don't like any room to look like a showroom, it's flavourless.
ReplyDeleteThe tall ceilings and long dining table draw me to the first one...
ReplyDeleteTotally loved the second one!
ReplyDeletePastel colors, stainless steel appliances and the floor, oh my god that floor !
Brilliant :)
Loved the first one! It's plenty of light, seems to be a very organized kitchen and the industrial style is my favour. The table is really beautiful. Liked very much your post.
ReplyDeleteThe firs one - I love this huge dining table and industrial feel :)
ReplyDeleteMost of all I like the first kitchen, with all that space an the cracked walls. awesome!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat point! I love that each of these kitchens has it's own character but is not necessarily "showroom" as you said.
